SC suspends CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar’s transfer order

Matter of appointment and transfer in Punjab is pending in 5-member bench of Supreme Court, transfer of Ghulam Muhammad Dogar should be reversed, order of 3-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan

The Supreme Court suspended the transfer order of CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar.

A 3-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan passed the verdict on the petition of Ghulam Mohammad Dogar.

The court has said in its decision that the matter of appointment and transfer in Punjab is pending in the 5-member bench of the Supreme Court, the transfer of Ghulam Muhammad Dogar should be stopped.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the case till today, seeking the records of the transfer of all officers in Punjab, including the transfer of the previous CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar. The court has summoned the Chief Election Commissioner again today. .
