Cyclone Biparjoy reaches to coast of South East Sindh

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz says Cyclone Biparjoy may move further northward by June 14, storm may move towards Karachi and southeast of Sindh

Cyclone Nadri has intensified further, Meteorological Department has issued an alert for various coastal cities of Sindh including Karachi, the cyclone formed in Arabian Sea and is 690 kilometers away from Karachi. Meteorological Department has sounded the alarm that winds are blowing at a speed of 180 kmph to 220 kmph in the center and sides of the storm. Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz says that the storm may hit Karachi’s coastline on June 15, Kati Bandar, and the coast of Indian Gujarat. The district administration of Karachi has imposed Section 144 on the coastal belt of Karachi, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah says that in view of the threat of a hurricane, the Sindh government has also put the army on high alert.

According to the details, the Cyclone Buparjoy in the Arabian Sea has taken its worst form. Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz says that the storm reached a distance of 690 km from the south of Karachi.

According to the Chief Meteorologist, the cyclone is located at a distance of 670 km from South Thatta, 720 km from Southeast Ormara.

According to the alert of the Meteorological Department, winds are blowing at a speed of 180 to 220 kilometers per hour in the center and sides of the storm.

According to Sardar Sarfaraz, the height of waves in the sea is 35 to 40 feet while the sea temperature is 30 to 35 degrees Celsius.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz says that the cyclone may hit Katy Bandar and the coast of Indian Gujarat on June 15. There is a strong possibility of heavy rains in Karachi from June 13 to 17.

According to the alert of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rains with storm in Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Tharparkar, Umarkot.

According to the alert of the meteorological department, there is a possibility of rain in Hyderabad, Tando Mohammad Khan, Tandwala Yar, and Mirpurkhas.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz says that the Cyclone Warning Center of the Meteorological Department is continuously monitoring the storm.
