Amazon Dos & Don’ts Checklist Will Benefit Entrepreneurs
The customer is obliged to pay the seller within 60 days while trading with Amazon or else accounts will be temporarily suspended
Pakistanis especially young businessmen are going to be benefitted from the biggest online marketplace, Amazon, as it has planned to open its platform to them and here is a checklist of dos and don’ts.
Considering the coronavirus pandemic situation in the country, e-commerce has emerged as one of the business opportunities and young entrepreneurs are testing their lucks.
Globally, people are earning good money through multiple e-commerce platforms and the establishment of Amazon Facilitation Centre by Pakistan Post is going to facilitate garments manufacturers and exporters on behalf of the government.
In this regard, the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) organized a webinar on trade awareness through Amazon.
The webinar was attended by hundreds of people from various walks of life, including officials from commerce ministry, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) etc.

To begin trading at Amazon, an individual is required to create an account with their details and register his brand with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
Previously, Pakistanis used to create their Amazon IDs using their other person’s details residing outside abroad.
However, the process is now hassle-free and without the involvement of a third party.
Explaining the limit of orders on Amazon, any account holder can sell a product worth up to $5000 through any courier or shipping company. It is not necessary for the service provider to be registered with the customs in Pakistan.
The registration and clearance of goods can be done through the same shipping or courier service.
In case the sale exceeds the said limit, the trader has to provide unique ID and got himself registered in customs WeBOC. Moreover, the Amazon will clear the payment in two months.
