Federal Govt Reduces Petroleum Products Prices
The price of petrol will be reduced by Rs 1.71 per liter to Rs 100.69 per liter.
BUSINESS DESK: The federal government has issued a notification to reduce the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification of the Finance Ministry, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1.71 per liter to Rs 100.69 per liter.
After a reduction of Rs 79 paisa per liter in the price of high speed diesel, the new price has been fixed at Rs 101.43 paisa per liter.
The price of kerosene will remain at Rs 65.29 per liter, while the price of light diesel will remain at Rs. 62.86 per liter.
These prices have been fixed for the next 15 days.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recently recommended a reduction in the price of petrol by up to Rs 3 per liter.
