The former finance minister was asked about the profits of his company and he immediately diverted the conversation

PML-N leader and former finance minister Miftah Ismail along with party spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb held a press conference and started bashing the ruling government for shaking country’s economy but it all ended up in his trolling on social media due to an unwanted question he was asked.

Ismail assured that PML-N is making every possible effort to not let the ruling government’s anti-people budget pass.

Commenting on differences with the premier, Miftah Ismail said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan had already lost credibility and people were tired”.

He said, “This anti-people budget cannot pass, is there more room left to kill poor people? Is there more room for inflation? If not, come to your senses”.

During the presser, the former finance minister was asked about mammoth profits of his confectionery company CandyLand and he immediately diverted the conversation.

Whereas, Maryam Aurangzeb interrupted him and pointed towards announcing date of the Pre-Budget Economy Seminar.

Shortly, the wobbling response came under fire and internet users started trolling Miftah Ismail, who was bashing the economy in his press conference.

One of the Twitter users shared some details about CandyLand which showed that despite the spread of infectious disease, the sales of Ismail Industries grew by 30% from FY18 to FY20, whereas sales volume during the span rose from Rs 29 billion to Rs 40 billion.

Moreover, Pakistani singer-songwriter Haroon Shahid tweeted that the result of trolling will directly affect the size of the Cocomo chocolate-filled biscuit which is going to become smaller in size sans filling.

A Twitter user congratulated the former finance minister on making record profits and credited the results to the ruling government for being easy on policies.

Moreover, a Cocomo lover grabbed the chance and requested CandyLand owner to increase the quantity of Cocomo biscuits from 3 to 5.
