The confidence of overseas Pakistanis in the incumbent government and its economic policies is growing as they sent record remittances in the fiscal year 2020-2021 (FY21).
The ex-Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari shared the figures on Twitter.
He wrote that overseas Pakistanis sent some $29.4 billion to their native country in FY21.
During FY21 #OverseasPakistanis sent the highest remittances in history of 🇵🇰 at $ 29.4Bn. Goes on to show trust on PMIK’s govt. IA as I predicted a couple years back, we will get it up to 32Bn. There can be no better way to thank them than giving more facilities & voting rights. pic.twitter.com/izYL8VJ2Re
