Petroleum Prices Cut Meagerly, LPG Rates Go Up

The prices will come into effect from November 1

BUSINESS DESK: The federal government has slashed the petroleum prices by Rs 1.57 per litre and of high diesel by Rs 0.84 per litre. The prices will come into effect from November 1.

After the revision, the price of per litre petrol will be Rs 102.40 while high-speed diesel will be available for Rs 103.22 per litre. Further, the changes made have brought the rate of Kerosene Oil to Rs 65.29 per litre and light diesel to Rs 62.86 per litre.

Moreover, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) also increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs9.50 per kilogramme (kg). As per the notification issued by the regulatory authority, the new price of LPG has been fixed at Rs129.68 per kg.

The fresh price of the domestic LPG cylinder has been fixed at Rs1, 530 after an increase of Rs 114. The prices will come into effect from November.
