“Remittances of Over $2bn For 10th Consecutive Month”
PM shared that remittances have risen 43% during March and showed a growth of 26% during the fiscal year 2020-2021
Prime Minister Imran Khan shared thrilling news with the nation amid dark and depressing days of the pandemic that March remained 10th consecutive month to receive the record run of above $2 billion through remittances.
PM, while appreciating the love and commitment of overseas Pakistani, shared that the remittances have risen 43% during March and showed a growth of 26% during the fiscal year (FY) 2020-2021.

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) also took to its Twitter official handle and maintained that in March, remittances stood at $2.7 billion, up by 20% compared to February & 43% compared to March 2020.

Additionally, SBP shared that remittances rose to $21.5bn during July-March FY21, up by 26% over the corresponding period last year.
