Increased Prices at Utility Stores Get Compatible With Open Market
Cold drinks, soaps, cooking oil, ghee, tea, pickle, and detergents are among the list of 123 items whose prices have been revised
In a display of apathy towards the low-income people, the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has once again increased the prices of 123 items and it seems like the government is competing to make the prices at the subsidized stores compatible with the open market.
Cold drinks, soaps, cooking oil, ghee, tea, pickle, and detergent are among the list of items whose prices have gone out of the reach of the poor.
According to the new rate list, various brands of ghee and cooking oil, tea, and pickle have been made pricier while ketchup, match sticks, detergents and soaps hold no exception too.
