Why Maria Memon Asks Pakistanis to Check Bank Lockers?
The anchorperson explained how her late mother’s gold was stolen from a private bank
In a Twitter thread, Sawal Yeh Hai host Maria Memon penned down her worst experience with a renowned Pakistani bank that encouraged her followers to disclose their damages in lockers.
Maria has been a prominent figure in the journalism industry and recently became a victim of bank locker theft.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Maria put down the experience that happened with her a few days ago.
Maria advised her followers to keep a strict check on their lockers as her late mother’s gold was stolen from a private bank.

This happened to my family a few days ago. Please keep strict check on your lockers. My dead mother’s gold has been stolen from #UBL.

Maria said that few weeks after her mother’s demise, her father went to United Bank Limited (UBL) at Model Town Branch in Lahore to operate a joint locker where he was registered as an either/or survivor.

Initially, the bank manager didn’t allow Maria’s father to operate the locker and demanded a succession certificate.
Later, when the family accessed the locker, they found out that the jewelry cases were empty and the valuables were robbed, thereby, she asked her followers to keep checking their lockers regularly.
Responding to Maria Memon, some of them listed down their worst experiences with the related bank and others.
Almost one year back, I was trapped by hackers and 160k was transferred to different accounts. I lodged complain @hbl but nothing happened. Hackers had all my data like cnic, cell number, mother name etc.i wrote complain to FIA also. Nothing for aam aadmi in this country.

My mother used to make payments on my behalf coz I live in USA to UBL bank representative instead of depositing the payments in my account he kept the payments in this pocket! I stopped paying to UBL !
