As per details provided by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Meesha Shafi, Iffat Omar and other accusers leveled allegations against the male singer on social media that tarnished Ali’s image.

However, they failed to provide evidence of their claims.

Four accusers filed pleas in the court seeking permanent exemption from personal appearance on the similar grounds of living and working in Karachi.

However, Magistrate Yousaf Abdul Rehman rejected the applications and summoned Meesha in the next hearing.

The Case

In April 2018, Meesha accused Ali Zafar of harassing her on more than one occasion and she was backed by her supporters including Iffat Omar, who all ran a social media campaign against the male singer.
