The letter not only garnered the attention of followers from around the world but also helped Angelina to set a new record of gaining millions of followers in such a short time.

Dedicating her first post to Afghans, Angelina said, “I’ve come on Instagram to share their stories and the voices of those across the globe who are fighting for their basic human rights.”

The second post was about refugees while the third contained a video about an Afghan girl which she produced for BBC.
