Armeena Khan’s ‘SnapShot’ Selected For UK Awards

In the short film, Armeena plays the role of a Pakistani-Canadian woman who heads to Turkey and gets stranded there during the lockdown

Pakistani-Canadian film actress, Armeena Khan, made her debut as a producer with the short film Snapshot and it is confirmed that the project has been selected for Gold Movie Awards.

Snapshot is written, directed, and co-produced by Sharaz Ali, and it features Armeena alongside Mert Kilic and Turkish television personality Ayhan Isik.

In the short film, Armeena plays the role of a Pakistani-Canadian woman who heads to Turkey and gets stranded there during the lockdown.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress-turned-producer shared her achievement with her fans and thanked the entire team for their hard work in making the project a success.

The film features a Turkish cast with music composed by Turkish artists and cinematography by Haider Zafar.

This was Armeena’s first project as a producer and before that, she had been a popular figure in Pakistan for her dramas and films.

Armeena started her career in 2013 with a British short movie Writhe which was also directed by her friend and co-producer Sharaz Ali that also made it to Cannes Film Festival.
