Celebs Ink Condolence Messages For Legendary Durdana Butt

As Pakistan’s senior television and film actress Durdana Butt breathed her last at 83 struggling to survive on the ventilator, the whole entertainment industry poured condolence messages.

A few days ago, the senior artist had been put on the ventilator after contracting covid-19 while she was already battling cancer.

The Lahore-born actress started her acting journey in the early 70s and got involved in commercials and modeling.

As an artist, her skills were recognized when she worked in the iconic Karachi TV series Angan Terha written by Anwar Maqsood in 1980 whereas Ruswai and Tanhaiyaan were also in the same list.

Since then, every person of the entertainment industry regardless of their age has met Durdana Butt commonly known as Durdana Aapa, and highly acknowledged her down-to-earth nature.

RJ Khalid Malik was one of the first individuals to break the news of Durdana Butt’s death to the public.
