Churails’ Mehar Bano Firmly Believes Homosexuality is OK
Pakistani actress claimed that controversial infamous slogan of Aurat March ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’ stands for the rights of homosexuals
In a recent video that surfaced on social media, Pakistani actress Mehar Bano, who has been actively participating in the Aurat March, made some contentious comments regarding homosexuality and linked it with controversial slogan ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’.
The march witnessed many personalities who raised voices for the rights of women through slogans and comments. Some received appreciation while some were backlashed.
In an interview, Mehar expressed the controversial slogan Mera Jism Meri Marzi not only specified women’s rights but it extended to the rights of everyone including homosexuals in Pakistan.
Giving a nod to relationship between same genders, Bano added she supported their free-will to choose a partner. The actress stated there wasn’t anything wrong about it.

The 26-year-old actress had also posted a story on Instagram regarding Mujra and labeled it as a difficult form of art.
She defended her thoughts saying the form of dance was initiated by the Muslims of the sub-continent.

Zubaida of the first Pakistani web series, Churails, received backlash from social media users, who have condemned her thoughts about homosexuality quoting several verses from Holy Quran.
However, there are currently 29 countries in the world that have legalized homosexuality and the marriage of same-sex couples including Germany, Australia, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Spain, India, France, etc.
