Fashion designer Ayesha Jam shared her new collection Naukot ki Rani on Instagram but with the wrong choice of words for the locals of Naukot in the Tharparkar district of Sindh.
Ayesha Jam maintained that the people of Naukot live in stone age while neglecting the fact that the region is not that old as the era which existed nearly 2.6 million years ago.

“Our collection ‘Naukot ki Rani’ is a reflection of the culture of these people who live in the stone age”, she wrote while hinting at the locals.
“Their souls are woven with glazed mirrors and gotta. We have incorporated all three in our bold traditional design to truly represent their culture”, she added.
The post by Ayesha Jam garnered scorn of the social media users and the designer while realizing her mistake deleted it.
