Renowned Pakistani scriptwriter, satirist, and humorist Anwar Maqsood has censured Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his own way for back-to-back crises hitting Pakistan.
Anwar Maqsood’s video was posted on Twitter in which he slammed PM Shehbaz Sharif.
“I am currently present in Virginia, United States (US). I have heard the speech of Shehbaz Sharif, our prime minister who was attending a function related to Mufti Mehmood late [one of the founding members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam- JUI] alongside Maulana [Fazlur Rehman]. We all know about the status of the national economy,” he said in his initial remarks.

“But, I feel happiness, a lot of happiness after hearing a thing about why we come here [US] to seek money. We should not come here or to China and Russia when we have Maulana Sahib here. Our PM said that the economy will be improved with a blow of Maulana,” said Maqsood.
“I will go to Pakistan and request Maulana Sahib to blow on PIA and PNSC, as well as on tomatoes to reduce prices and potatoes to make them available for the people. I will wait for Maulana’s whiffs. Long Live Whiff!,” he concluded.
