Netizens slam Geo News for recording Wahab Bugti’s song in flood-hit village

Netizens have expressed anger over Geo News for demanding singer Wahab Ali Bugti to sing a popular song, Kana Yaari, in the flood-hit village of Balochistan.

Popular singer Wahab Ali Bugti is among thousands of flood victims who lost their shelters due to heavy rains and flash floods. Earlier, it was reported that Bugti’s house was also destroyed due to heavy rains in Balochistan’s Naseerabad district.

A Geo News reporter reached Bugti to highlight his miseries as he and his family were forced live under open sky after the destruction of their house.

Alongside interviewing the singer, the reporter asked Kana Yaari singer to sing the famous song once again. The singer sang the song over his demand with a heavy heart and facial expressions filled with sadness in front of the camera.

After his video was shared by Geo News anchorperson Abdullah Sultan on Twitter, many citizens vented anger on the private news channel for demanding the singer to sing a song in dire conditions.
