Ranveer Singh pays the price for nude photoshoot; FIR lodged
Plaintiff accuses the actor of hurting women's sentiments, Ranveer Singh's nudity is also called a national issue.
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s nude photoshoot for Paper Magazine was widely criticised and trolled by netizens while an Indian woman filed an FIR against Ranveer Singh and called the actor’s nudity a national problem.
On the other hand, a social organisation in Madhya Pradesh (MP) started a campaign to collect clothes for the Indian actor.
According to the Times of India, an official of a local NGO in Mumbai has filed an FIR against Singh, stating that the actor has hurt the sentiments of women through his nude photos.
The Mumbai Police registered an FIR against the actor under Section 292 (selling obscene material), Section 293 (selling obscene material to youth) and Section 509 (attempting to hurt the dignity of women by words, gestures or actions) of the IPC.
Vedika Chaubey, the woman who filed the FIR against the actor, while speaking on the NDTV program, termed Ranveer Singh’s nudity as a national issue.

The host of the program asked what is your problem with Ranveer Singh’s nudity, what is nudity in it? The woman replied that these are definitely nude pictures, we can see her breasts in the pictures, I have her video in which she is completely naked.
The host laughed after hearing the woman’s comments, but the woman remained true to her words and said you can laugh at my words, I don’t know how many people understand my words, but this is a national problem.
According to Indian media, the social organization in a city has started a campaign to collect clothes for Ranveer Singh. The local NGO has pasted Ranveer Singh’s naked photos on a box and placed it in the market and locals have put clothes in it.
