These Celebrities Spoke Out Against Sexual Harassment
The stars expressed their thoughts in the wake of rising incidents of violence against women
Following the cases of Noor Mukadam and Wishah Abubakar, Pakistani celebrities have raised their voices against sexual harassment.
Recently, Noor Mukadam, the daughter of Pakistan’s former Ambassador to South Korea Shaukat Mukadam, was murdered in Islamabad as she allegedly wanted to end a relationship by her choice.
Noor’s event was still fresh when another case surfaced on Twitter where the victim sought public support against her influential husband.
Wishah Abubakar penned down her story that FIA has been bribed by her husband Shahzawar Bugti, who was threatening to leak her photos.

Backing the victims, the celebrities including Zara Noor, Bushra Ansari, and Ushna Shah encouraged people to not stop the rally against sexual harassment.
The Deewar-e-Shab star Bushra Ansari took to her Instagram handle and put her feelings into words.

Moreover, Phaans leading actress Zara Noor Abbas also questioned her followers if they felt safe in a country where the cases of sexual harassment were increasing every day.

In addition to it, Akhir Kab Tak star Ushna Shah brought out that the citizens should be taking up cudgels for all women who were victims.
“Let’s make each case a high profile one. Let’s protect Wishah Abubakr. They’re all our sisters”, she wrote.
