Owing to her dressing and statements, Alizeh has been targeted and though she has clarified herself a couple of times, netizens always find fault with her.

Failing to understand why Alizeh Shah posted her burka look, some social media users termed it as ‘scary’ while some linked it with Muharram preparations with a terrible touch.
Previously, as the nation celebrated its 74th independence day, Shah raised some concerns regarding the term ‘Azaadi’ which didn’t receive the response she was expecting.
Alizeh was of the view that Pakistan got its freedom on August 14, however, rapists are the only people who can understand the meaning of the word as they roam freely whereas many girls cannot step outside their houses or go to work.
