EU Nations Fear Clots, Armeena & WHO Shield Oxford Jabs

Several European nations have backed from using AstraZeneca vaccine due to fear of getting blood clots post jabs

After rumors regarding Oxford/AstraZeneca jabs speeded across the world particularly among European nations that it developed blood clots soon after administration, World Health Organization (WHO) has guarded the vaccine as a safe option. 

The countries including Germany, France, and Italy recently halted the use of Oxford/ AstraZeneca jab after many cases were reported where people developed blood clots and experienced anxiety.

Norway reported a death and three adult patients were hospitalized after blood clotting got serious.

However, AstraZeneca and WHO have denied prevalent rumors and added that the vaccine was safe and there was no reason to stop rolling it out.

Meanwhile, the health experts around the world stressed the use of vaccines as the only way to vanquish coronavirus pandemic which has already exterminated more than 2.6 million people globally.

In addition to it, European Union (EU) confirmed usage of four jabs including ‘Sputnik V’ vaccine from Russia.

Moreover, Pakistani-Canadian film actress, Armeena Khan tweeted a video of when she received the vaccine jab.

Thanking National Health Service (NHS) of UK, the actress wrote that she felt relieved after immunization shot and promised to update her health status after some time.

The next day, the actress shared her experience and mentioned that she hadn’t faced any major side-effects besides headache and slight muscle soreness.

However, she later clarified in her Instagram stories that such side-effects were normal and the vaccine was harmless.
