Peshawar Health Officials Held For Fake Covid-19 Certificates

The 2 officials of THQ Takht Bhai hospital in Mardan district of KP were suspended and an inquiry is to be held against them

The officials of the Peshawar health department were found to be involved in providing fake covid-19 immunization certificates.

The 2 officials of Tehsil Health Quarters (THQ) Takht Bhai Hospital in Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province were suspended and an inquiry is to be held against them.

District Health Officer (DHO) Mardan ordered to submit the inquiry report within 3 days.

As per details, the officials, Aslat Khan and Ashfaq Ahmed, were caught red-handed making the immunization certificates.

X-Ray technician Aslat Khan was bang to rights authenticating the fake documents.

DHO Mardan issued a letter to Assistant Commissioner (AC) requesting him to probe an investigation against the accused.

Not only this, the health department was already receiving several complaints against THQ hospital but no action was taken due to the unavailability of proof.
