Karachi Now Opens Vaccination For Minorities & Beggars

The centers will be set up outside the worship places where these communities gather on regular basis to offer their religious rituals

Considering the increasing graph of positive cases, Sindh government has initiated covid vaccination drive for minorities and beggars in the metropolitan city to lower the risk of spread.

The latest statistics of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) show that 4,075 cases were reported positive during the past 24 hours with overall positivity rate at 6.79% in the country.

With influx of beggars in Karachi from different parts of the country, living under the flyovers and bridges, the chances of the virus spread are high.

The health officials said that beggars would be vaccinated with a single dose vaccine after the formulation of a plan at Union Council (UC) level.
