Sacked Vaccinators Protest Outside Karachi Press Club
The government has fired more than 300 vaccinators on the pretext of court orders, although nothing of the sort has been issued
Overlooking the efforts of vaccinators, Sindh government fired them on the pretext of court orders which triggered a protest at Karachi Press Club (KPC).
The demonstrators announced to march towards the Chief Minister’s House and fight for their rights.
The sacked employees are those who have passed the National Testing Service (NTS) test in 2018 and they had been serving for the last two years.

The government officials have interestingly retained the contractual employees hailing from Karachi but those hailing from other districts fell prey to lay-off.
Talking to News360, the protesters said that the coronavirus pandemic has already left thousands unemployed and the government’s action has left them in a cleft stick.
They added that despite covid threats, the vaccinators worked long shifts but the Sindh government hasn’t acknowledged their hard work.
One of the vaccinators, who attended the protest at Karachi Press Club, said that he is the breadwinner of his house and he is wondering how he is going to feed his family and pay bills after getting fired.
