Graana Pulls Leg of a ‘Banglow’ Advertisement
Journalist Zebunnisa Burki shared the photo of the announcement from the newspaper, whose headline read an incorrect spelling of Bungalow
A renowned newspaper Jang was slap in the face for showing negligence while publishing an advertisement ‘Banglow on Rent’ and Graana.com didn’t miss the chance to troll them.
Journalist Zebunnisa Burki shared the photo of the announcement from the newspaper, whose headline read an incorrect spelling of Bungalow.

The advertisement said that the chief executive officer (CEO) of a multinational company needs a reasonably newly-built house on rent in Karachi in KDA Scheme 1 or nearby areas.
Further, the ad said that the tenant wants to have a 2,000 to 6,000 square yards house with at least 4 bedrooms and a swimming pool.
He also provided his contact details and requested to email pictures of the house for reference.
While pointing out the spelling mistake, the journalist wrote, “Now all CEO Bhai has to do is hire a copy editor. Or learn how to spell.”

Replying to her, other Twitter users also found fault with the advertisement.
The failure of the admin manager, or whoever placed the ad, to spell bungalow correctly is probably not going to affect the CEO’s career prospects much – especially if s/he is Chinese – nor her/his ability to find a house …

Other than that, an online real estate marketplace Graana.com also made a sarcastic post addressing Jang’s advertisement.
