American rock band, Nirvana, has being sued by a man who was featured naked on the band’s album cover as a baby.
Spencer Elden was photographed on the album Nevermind nearly 3 decades ago as a four-month-old in a swimming pool with a dollar bill.
Elden, now 30, claims that his parents never signed a release authorizing the use of his image on the album and alleged the band for child pornography.

The legal papers filed by the plaintiff read that the cover exposed the child’s genitals to this day from the time when he was an infant.
Not only this, Elden’s lawyer also claimed that the image that shows the child with a dollar bill makes his client seem like a ‘sex worker’.
Spencer sued Nirvana for sexual exploitation asserting that he has suffered lifelong damages due to the photo and will continue to suffer.
The plaintiff is asking for damage of at least $150,000 from each of the defendants.
Meanwhile, most of the social media users are claiming that Elden is trying to mint money as he himself recreated the shoot on the album’s 25th anniversary.

Elden once said about the recreation in an interview that he wanted the picture without his shorts but the photographer told him not to do so.
