Weighty Woman Turned Away From Party Bus in Miami
"Being turned away in front of other people because of how I look and my size was humiliating", she said in an interview
A recent body-shaming incident in Miami caught the attention of internet users as a woman named Fallon Melillo explained her experience of being rejected from boarding a party bus because of being weighty.

Taking to her Instagram handle, she made a TikTok video, describing how the management of the bus service treated the girls and how social media has damaged the personality of an oversized woman.
In the video, Fallon told that she and her female friends decided to visit DAER Dayclub on July 31 and they purchased party bus tickets that would transport them there.
The tickets were bought through a third-party service but she noticed the company’s disclaimer stating “No big girls”.

Later, the gang reached out to the club and they assured that it would not discriminate based on size like the bus service.
Feeling hopeful, the girls attempted to hop on the party bus but as per the policy. However, they were turned away from there also because of Fallon’s weighty body.
“Being turned away in front of other people because of how I look and my size was humiliating,” she said in an interview with BuzzFeed.
Terming the whole experience as ‘very embarrassing’, Fallon expressed that this is what every plus-size person fears while attending events or going to public places.
Further, she said, “If you see this video, I am begging you, take an Uber, look for a different company that doesn’t discriminate against marginalized bodies in society”.
So far, her video has gone viral with over half a million views on TikTok and thousands of people have come forward to voice their support.
