Punjab government has announced a human rights award for Malik Adnan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced the awarding of the Medal of Courage to Malik Adnan, a man who tried his best to save Sri Lankan factory manager Pranitha Kumara from the mob in Sialkot. Malik Adnan has thanked the Prime Minister for announcing the Medal of Courage.

Sharing a message on social networking site Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote, “On behalf of the entire nation, I salute the moral courage and bravery of Malik Adnan.”

He further wrote that “Malik Adnan tried his best to save Pranitha Diwadana from the Egyptian mob on the violence and tried to save the oppressed by risking his life. We will award him the Medal of Courage.

It is to be noted that several videos on the Sialkot incident were shared by the citizens on social media, one of which was a video which showed how a man was begging the people who were torturing the factory manager.

On the other hand, Malik Adnan thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for announcing the Medal of Courage. Malik Adnan says he is grateful to the media for supporting the truth.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has announced a human rights award, paying tribute to Malik Adnan’s bravery. According to the Punjab government’s announcement, Malik Adnan will be given the Human Rights Award on December 10.

Malik Adnan has become a top trend on Twitter, a popular social media site. He is being paid tribute by political and social figures. It should be noted that a video of Malik Adnan saving his Sri Lankan manager from violence has also come to light.
