Actor Haroon Shahid, strongly condemning the incident of gang rape in Islamabad’s F-Nine Park, shared the incident of shooting a scene of the movie “Varna” in the said park in the past.
Haroon Shahid shared a tweet of his September 2020 saying that for those who don’t know about it. He mentioned the shooting of a scene in movie “Varna”.

The actor said that in the film “Varna” we showed a girl kidnapped by a politician’s son in broad daylight from Islamabad’s F-Nine Park, which was severely criticized.

Haroon said that many people criticized this scene in our film saying, “It’s not possible. I asked Shahid sir, is this possible?”
He said that I remember that during the shooting of “Varna” I asked Shoaib Sahib that how is it possible for someone to pick up a girl in a park and rape her in broad daylight.

Actor Haroon Shahid said that I told Shahid that this is impossible, so he replied that it has been happening, it can happen and it will continue to happen.
It should be remembered that three days ago, an incident of alleged gang rape of a girl resident of Mian Chanu has come to light in Islamabad’s F9 Park, while the girl was also subjected to torture.
According to doctors, there are marks of rape on the girl’s body. Margalla police have registered a case while the search for the accused is going on through the CCTV video. The park staff is also involved in the investigation.
