Hareem Shah leaks audiotape of alleged FIA action

TikTok celebrity Hareem Shah, who is facing accusations of money laundering and tax theft, leaked an audiotape of her conversation with the travel agent who was allegedly asked by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to block her air tickets.

Hareem Shah has now come forth with an audiotape which she played in front of Geo News reporter in London Murtaza Ali Shah.

The Geo News reporter posted a video of Hareem Shah in which she played the audiotape in front of the camera to reveal her telephonic conversation with her travel agent after her air ticket was allegedly cancelled or blocked by him.

The audiotape started with her argument with a man in which Hareem Shah told him that no action could be taken against her following the directives of the high court. She said that she is free to travel anywhere and whenever to Pakistan. She then threatened him to go to the press meeting against the FIA for threatening her travel agent.

To this, the travel agent replied that she is still authorised to change her ticket but it is possible through a lender. After being questioned about whether he was asked to block Shah’s ticket, the travel agent admitted that he has received a telephone call from someone. He then said that Shah’s ticket is now open as she did not appear but she can now change its status anytime.

The travel agent was then questioned if he was forced by the government to block the ticket. To this, he replied that he has been asked not to take action on her ticket. He continued that he was able to change the status of the ticket if the passenger manages to appear at the prescribed time. After she failed to assure her timely appearance, the ticket was made open, he added. The open ticket will allow her to travel whenever she wants to, he said.

He said that Hareem Shah could also receive a refund of the ticket in accordance with the current value. He then changed his statement that he will look into the matter if he is still authorised to refund the ticket after it is blocked.

The travel agent allegedly admitted that FIA had asked him not to proceed with any action on her ticket. He then asked her to give her time to confirm the status of the ticket again.

Hareem Shah could be heard as saying that she will go to a press conference against FIA for pressuring her travel agent to block her ticket. He later disconnected the call after promising to confirm the status of her ticket after asking the concerned persons.

Pakistani authorities had launched a thorough probe against TikTok star Hareem Shah after a video of her surfaced on social media with the bundles of currency to which she claimed she brought to a foreign country without being checked at the airport prior to departing to Doha from Karachi airport on the night of January 10.

TikTok celebrity Hareem Shah has faced the music for challenging the Pakistani authorities as the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) asked two banks to freeze her accounts till the completion of a money laundering probe. However, the Sindh High Court (SHC) had barred FIA from taking any action against her after she assured her appearance before the investigators.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had launched a thorough probe into tax affairs of the TikTok celebrity Hareem Shah and summoned her on February 16, otherwise, an arrest warrant will be issued.
