Indus News was the last private English news channel operating in Pakistan.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via its Twitter account however the official handle has been suspended too.
According to journalist Rizwan Ghilzai and other members of the fraternity, more than 200 media workers have been unemployed by the sudden suspension of Indus News.

They asked which journalist organization will stage a sit-in outside the house of business magnate Malik Riaz.
They targeted the protest of journalists outside the parliament against the Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA).
In April, business tycoon Malik Riaz had also shut down Aap News over similar reasons.
Earlier, English news channels including Dawn News and Tribune 24/7 had also suspended their operations.
