Koh Larn Island In Pattaya Under Full Lockdown

Koh Larn, which is a popular island off Pattaya in Thailand is under full lockdown. The Koh Larn community on Tuesday decided to lockdown the island until Jan 20.

The Koh Larn community said the decision has been made with the consent of residents and business operators on the island, even though they are aware that the lockdown will have economic impacts on them.

Under the lockdown, the island will be closed to outsiders from Tuesday, while residents on the island are banned from leaving. All boat services between the island and the mainland are suspended, except for vessels delivering food and drinking water.
