An announcement issued by WhatsApp management states that under the Disappearing Messages policy, with 7 days, 2 new options of 24 hours and 90 days are now being added for the convenience of users.

It is possible to take a screenshot of the chat sent under this feature ie privacy will not be protected but this feature will be used by the company as a storage saver. This means that when the messages are automatically deleted at the scheduled time, the storage space will be cleared and the user will not have to do it manually. If this feature is enabled by default, all new one-on-one chats will disappear from the chat windows within the selected period, and the company has added this feature to the feature, but it may take some time for it to reach all users.

Mark Zuckerberg, head of Facebook (Meta) and WhatsApp, sent the first experimental message to his wife, Priscilla Chan, after the introduction of the new upgraded policy, and shared a screenshot from her official Facebook account in the caption. Today we are introducing an optional option for our users to delete all conversations on WhatsApp between 7 and 90 days after which all the messages will no longer need to be in your mobile phone.
