NGO takes step to clean Natural Springs of Sehwan
President of Tourism says, clean-up campaign aims to renovate springs so tourism can flourish.
The sulfur springs at Lakki Shah Sadr, a tourist spot in the historic city of Sehwan in Sindh province, have been cleaned for the first time.
Locals and students took part in the one-day clean-up campaign organized by the Indus Tourism Club. Half of the two-kilometer area was cleared of rubbish.

Old clothes, empty bottles, plastic bags and other scattered items were collected and taken away from the hot water sulfur springs.
Fifteen minutes of volunteer cleaning of the garbage improved the flow of spring water in sehwan.
On the occasion, President of Indus Tourism Club Mujahid Hussain Syed, General Secretary Ilyas Abbasi, Zahra Shalwani, Sajid Raz and others said that the purpose of the cleaning campaign is to renovate this historical and recreational place. I also want to emphasize the importance of working together for the beauty of our region.
Mujahid Hussain Syed said that Lakki Shah Sadr is a complete tourist destination but due to lack of comprehensive publicity, people are not aware of this beautiful mountain resort. Has demanded the government to take steps to make Lucky Shah Sadr a tourism point. Certificates of congratulations were also given to the students and participants after the cleaning campaign.
