The rampant encroachments have been causing traffic snarl-ups and illegal obstruction of sidewalks and pavements in the provincial capital Karachi, Sindh, for ages. In parallel, uncontrollable encroachments in Dadu city, Sindh, has also become a burning issue as the Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has failed to curb encroachments in his constituency.
Unbridled encroachment in the city of Dadu has been causing trouble for the residents as the district administration is acting deaf-mute towards the issue.

The residents face major traffic inconvenience due to illegal and disorderly parking of Qingqi rickshaws (tri-wheelers) in the city.
