99% of Candidates Failed Teachers Recruitment Test in Sindh
The test was attempted by 162,000 candidates out of which only 1,250 applicants managed to pass
The test result for the recruitment of junior teachers conducted in Sindh last week revealed that nearly 99% of the candidates failed the exam.
The test, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing service in partnership with the provincial government, was attempted by 162,000 candidates of which only 1,250 applicants managed to pass.
Of the 162000 candidates who appeared in the teachers recruitment test conducted by Sukkar IBA for the post of junior elementary school teacher, only 1300 managed to pass.

The test was conducted for the recruitment of 46,500 teachers and nearly 500,000 applications were received.

Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah expressed grave concerns over the result and informed the chief minister about the situation.
“We are recruiting 46,049 teachers. No one will be favored. Among the 14,000 candidates for the position of JSTs, only 1,200 passed the test. Among the failed candidates were a daughter and a son of a secretary”, said Sardar Ali Shah.
As sources revealed, the government is considering to reduce the passing marks to fill in the vacant positions.
However, no official statement has been issued in this regard.
