Ahsan Iqbal embarrassed by ‘Chor Chor’ slogans of citizens at restaurant
Ahsan Iqbal has faced an embarrassing situation at a restaurant at Bhera Motorway when a group of citizens started raising slogans 'Chor Chor [thief, thief]' after identifying him.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and federal minister for planning, Ahsan Iqbal faced an embarrassing situation at a restaurant at Bhera Motorway when a group of citizens started raising slogans ‘Chor Chor [thief, thief]’ after identifying him.
The incident took place at a popular restaurant at Bhera Motorway of Sargodha where Ahsan Iqbal reportedly reached to buy burger. The video went viral on social media and was reported by several news channels.
Iqbal was seen standing helpless in front of the citizens who were expressing their anger against the present rulers by raising slogans. He tried to stop them from humiliating him, however, the citizens did not stop criticising him.
It reminds the time when PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) used to blame each other by raising the same slogans, but now both parties are facing public outrage and the same slogans from the nationals on the streets.
Ahsan Iqbal expressed his anger in a Twitter message.

Commenting on Iqbal’s tweet, a former federal minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the video only showed Iqbal’s disrespect and he should stop lying and next time he should wear a burqa while moving around.

According to a private TV report, PTI leaders Fawad Chaudhry and Zulfi Bukhari had also arrived at the same restaurant nearly an hour before Ahsan Iqbal but they were warmly welcomed and people took pictures with them.

Political analysts say that there was a time when PML-N leaders and PPP leaders used to call each other as thieves and robbers, but now people are calling them thieves and robbers. It should be noted that some time ago, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his cabinet ministers had faced a similar situation at Masjid-e-Nabavi PBUH in Madinah.
