The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday rejected the security bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan for not appearing in the court.
The court had given time to Imran Khan to appear in the court till 6:30 pm. Despite giving time, Chairman PTI did not appear in the court, after which a two-member bench of the Lahore High Court dismissed his petition.
On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, while reacting strongly to the action of the police, shared a message on the social media website Twitter and wrote that “Rana Nathnaullah is trying to make Zaman Park a model town. Hopefully the arrest of Imran Khan will not be foolish, otherwise things will get out of hand.”
