Another Pakistani Summits Rakaposhi Via New Route
Before Nagri, Karnal Sher Khan was the first Pakistani to summit Rakaposhi in 1979
Mountaineer Wajidullah Nagri became the 2nd Pakistani to summit the 12th highest peak of Pakistan, Rakaposhi.
Interestingly, Nagri reached his destination, a 7788-meter-high peak, via a new route.
Wajidullah Nagri climbed the mountain in the Karakoram range in Gilgit Baltistan (GB) along with two fellows hailing from the Czech Republic.

Before Nagri, Karnal Sher Khan was the first Pakistani to summit Rakaposhi in 1979.
Notably, Rakaposhi is the 27th highest peak in the world and it was first climbed by two British mountaineers Mike Banks and Tom Patey.
