Army Chief is Impressed by Shehzad Roy’s Efforts
COAS paid a visit to Zindagi Trust and was overwhelmed by the management and the level of education being provided there
The services of a famous singer and humanitarian, Shehzad Roy, have finally paid off as Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Zindagi Trust and accredited his hard work.
In 2002, Shehzad established Zindagi Trust, a non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of education available to impoverished people.
Since then, he has been involved in evolving the organization for the betterment of children’s educational career.
His wife Salma Alam runs a non-profit organization named Durbeen that transforms public sector delivery of teacher education in Pakistan.

Recently, the Army chief paid a visit to Zindagi Trust and was overwhelmed away by the management and the level of education being provided there.
Taking to his Twitter handle, philanthropist Shehzad shared Bajwa’s visit to his organization.

During his visit, Asim Bajwa interacted with the staff and played chess with one of the students.
Bajwa was enlightened with the strategies that Zindagi Trust is following and how they are evolving with time and technological advancement.
The army chief said that if all government schools started to utilize modern-era methodologies, it is going to change the paradigm of teaching in this country.
