The news channel offered her to prove her allegations when the politician removed ARY News mic during a press conference.
She alleged that she could not interact with a channel which is consistently attacking the sanctity of the national institutions and supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan just to payback the Rs40 billion benefits collected during his tenure.
A week ago, Maryam Nawaz had once again launched verbal attack against ARY News, its owner besides levelling corruption allegations against the media house’s management during Sargodha public gathering.
Maryam Nawaz had criticised ARY News management multiple times for not reporting in accordance with the PML-N government’s desires.
In Sargodha public gathering, Maryam Nawaz targeted ARY News and expressed outrage over the news channel’s reports against the ruling party and the political developments in the country.
She then alleged that Imran Khan and ARY News owners were jointly involved in Rs40 billion corruption. The politician had alleged that ARY News management was also involved in tax evasion, whereas, the World Call was also sold to the media house owners for Rs7 billion.
Despite being invited for a public discussion, neither Maryam Nawaz nor PML-N leaders announced a date or time for a debate to prove their allegations against ARY News.
