Former Prime Minister and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has opened another Pandora’s box and hinted at revealing the name of an individual who was allegedly present in the control room established to monitor PTI long march’s activities on the day when he survived an assassination attempt.

Moreover, the PTI leader Farrukh Habib claimed that it has been proved in the forensic report that there were two attackers present at the crime scene when Imran Khan’s container was attacked during PTI’s long march.

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) also demanded that the names of the people named in the FIR be registered as per Imran Khan’s demand.

Imran Khan, assassination attempt, PTI long march

In his address yesterday, the PTI chief said, “I will tell you which other officer was present in the control room along with Major General Faisal Naseer.” The latest claims seemingly showed that the armed attack was planned.

Khan said that the PTI long march will resume on Thursday from the same place where 13 of our people were shot and our worker Moazzam was killed.

Imran Khan while inviting the nationals to participate in the PTI’s long march said that he will address the PTI marchers online. He claimed that the real independence march is the biggest movement after the creation of Pakistan.

The former premier Imran Khan said that he had come to know about his assassination plan two months ago and revealed it in public meetings, the murderous attack in Wazirabad was part of the same script.

Farrukh Habib wrote on Twitter, “According to the preliminary report of the Punjab Forensic Department, which was briefed to the Punjab Home Minister Omar Cheema, there was a murderous attack on Imran Khan and at least two assailants were involved.”

He added that the ‘cover-up’ plan was foiled after the suspect’s claims of having religious motives behind the attack were proved to be false. Habib said that they gave their stance earlier that the assassination attempt on Imran Khan was planned which was also proved in the preliminary forensic report.
