Dua Zehra case: Involvement of notorious Goga Gang exposed

The involvement of notorious Goga Gang of Punjab was exposed in Dua Zehra abducton case, security sources told News360.

Speculations were being made on the involvement of an alleged gang in Dua Zehra’s abduction case on different YouTube channels for many days. However, News360 acquired details of the involvement of notorious Goga Gang of Punjab in the girl’s abduction and an organised plan to shift her from Karachi to Lahore.

It was earlier reported that Zaheer Ahmed has connections with Goga Gang and they allegedly convinced Zehra to solemnise nikah in Punjab. On April 17, Zehra reached Lahore and she was immediately transported to Depalpur city of Punjab’s Okara district and was kept at the residence of an influential person.

She was also recovered from the same residence when the public outcry started everywhere after the disappearance of the girl. According to News360 sources, DPO Okara also played his role to give protection to Zaheer Ahmed and Dua Zehra when they were kept at the Okara residence from April 17 to 26.

It was learnt that an abduction case was also due to be heard at Haripur Hazara’s district and sessions court. The couple also spent a few days in Mansehra. The claims of taxi or rickshaw were also proved to be false as an unknown individual transported her from Karachi to Lahore by road.

Goga Gang of Gujrat is known for human trafficking which used to smuggle young boys to the Middle East for domestic purposes, as well as send young girls to the Middle East or Thailand to work as domestic servants or sex workers.

Dua Zehra’s age

In the previous development, the largest 10-member medical board verified the truth regarding Dua Zehra’s age and confirmed that she was nearest to 15 years of age.

Jibran Nasir said in a media statement that abduction and sexual harassment cases will be filed against Zaheer Ahmed and his facilitators.

Nasir tweeted today, saying, “The medical board has verified the truth which Parents have been telling since 2.5 months. As per Board #DuaZehra is nearest to 15 yrs of age negating previous medical report which placed Dua at 17. Thus proven that NADRA documents are accurate & Dua in reality is a 14yr child.”

“Offences of Kidnapping, Child Marriages & Rape/Sexual Offences all are attracted to a case where girl child is under 16. IGP Sindh should take immediate action to remove current I.O. of case who has been telling media no case of Kidnapping is made & must immediate recover Dua.”

“AG Sindh told High Court that no case of Kidnapping is made out, Police relied on statement of girl to claim no case of Kidnapping is made out, girl repeatedly told Honorable Courts that she is 18 years of age, today it is proven that all statements were result of inducement.”

Nasir said, “We need better procedures and training in place both in Police & Judiciary to save our children. For 2.5 months parents suffered moving pillar to post to recover their child while Dua unaware herself was under unimaginable danger while content creators cashed in on this tragedy.”
