Imran Riaz Khan, Sami Ibrahim launch personal attack against Matiullah Jan

Senior anchorpersons Imran Riaz Khan and Sami Ibrahim have launched personal attack against senior journalist Matiullah Jan by hurling abusive remarks which was recorded on camera.

When anchorpersons Imran Riaz Khan and Sami Ibrahim came out of the courtroom, Matiullah Jan went there to question them regarding the hearing, but they started hurling abusive remarks against him.

Imran Riaz Khan initiated hurling allegations against Matiullah Jan by saying that he should reveal the details of his ouster from the military academy. Khan alleged that Matiullah has been facing allegations that he was raped by someone in a military barrack.

Continuing the abusive conversation, Sami Ibrahim said that he had seen a photo of a cute child. Pointing toward Matiullah, Ibrahim said that he was very beautiful in his childhood and still he is very good to them.

Khan said that he wishes they [Matiullah and Sami Ibrahim] had met in childhood.

Matiullah vented on the absurd conversation and challenged the anchorpersons to repeat the same words in a live TV show in front of him if they are brave enough to prove their allegations.

The video clip went viral on social media and netizens and journalists slammed the anchorpersons over their absurd and immoral remarks against Matiullah Jan.

Although, Matiullah Jan’s questions to the anchorpersons were not related to the hearing of the cases against them, but Khan and Ibrahim’s abusive remarks are condemnable.

Sami Ibrahim, instead of tendering an apology over his remarks, defended his statement by saying that he is sorrowful over his conversations with Matiullah but what he said there was truth.
