Pakistani senior journalist Absar Alam has caught the attention as he criticized the government for the firing by Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK).
A video went viral on social media that shows that the suspects pelted stones and threw eggs at the minister’s motorcade while it was en route to attend a public gathering.
In this regard, the former PEMRA chairman inquired how would Kashmiri people and Pakistan react if weapons were used as a way of communication in Srinagar.

Expressing his concern over the incident, Absar Alam promoted anti-national rhetoric, saying with his unsafe environment, who is going to promote tourism.

He added the rulers who emphasized tourists to see the beauty of peaceful Azad Kashmir have shown the true face of it to all.
Further, the senior journalist asked why the rulers were not arresting the person who was spreading terrorism and let the court decide his identity and take the action accordingly.

Responding to Absar Alam, an internet user commented that his statement against tourism in the AJK firing incident is beyond comprehension.
Previously, another senior journalist Murtaza Solangi had faced a similar situation, where he picked excerpts from a news story and put the words of a Europe-based diplomat into the mouth of the EU’s spokesperson, spreading negative propaganda against Pakistan.
