Jang, Geo media groups start promoting MQM London
Analysts said that efforts are being made by some journalists and media groups in Pakistan to restore the past glory of MQM and MQM founder Altaf Hussain is being promoted through various pretexts.
Jang and Geo media groups have started an organised campaign to bring back Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain to Pakistani politics. Along with the announcement of ‘MQM International’ to celebrate Youm-e-Shuhada (Martyrs Day), Jang newspaper has published an article in favour of the event.
After an organized campaign in the local media to bring back MQM founder Altaf Hussain, Jang and Geo media groups have apparently gone out of their way to promote MQM London.

According to Jang newspaper, “MQM International Coordination Committee has announced to celebrate Martyrs’ Day on Friday, December 9, to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the movement.”
The report read, “On this occasion, floral wreaths will be placed on the graves of martyrs in different cities of Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad and Fatiha Khwani will be organised.”
It should be noted that the host of the Geo News programme ‘Hasna Mana Hai’ Tabish Hashmi also played Altaf Hussain’s picture on the screen a few days ago.
