Staff Wants to Save Bannu School in Dilapidated Condition

The school management said that the building could collapse at any time as the infrastructure is in a weary condition

A primary school named Jahangir Kakki located in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is waiting for a miracle from the PTI government as it appears to be on the verge of collapse.

The school in Bannu is in a dilapidated condition as the concerned authorities have failed to keep up with its maintenance.

Talking to News360, the school management said that the building could collapse at any time as the infrastructure is in a weary condition.

The officials said that they have repeatedly informed the education department but no one has responded yet, leaving the school and children’s education at risk.

They added that dozens of students, who are eager to make a productive future, are forced to study under an unsafe infrastructure.

The management officials informed that fissured walls of the building cause seepage in the classrooms and it is like hanging by a thread when it rains.

The officials called for the education department to take action before any major accident occurs.
