Karachi Medicine Market Robbed in Darkness

The police have badly failed in curbing the rule of thieves and robbers in Karachi as a group of thieves raided the medicine market during the wee hours of Monday and looted Rs 2 million from 5 shops and a warehouse.
The suspects broke the locks of several shops and a warehouse in the medicine market located on M.A Jinnah Road and fled after looting them.
After receiving information, Karachi police reached the medicine market, sealed the area, and started investigation.

The footage of the incident has also gone viral on social media in which a robber can be seen breaking the locks.
According to the shopkeepers, the robbers broke the locks of 5 shops and a warehouse in the medicine market and fled with the cash and products worth Rs 2 million.
The police stated the incident took place despite the presence of two watchmen in the market as the lock of the main entrance remained undamaged.
The Secretary of the Wholesale Karachi Pharma Organization Aslam Polani said the accused in the burglary incident looted more than Rs 2 million in cash and fled.
Further, he added that a similar incident occurred 3 months ago in the same market and he is hopeful that the authorities will trace the suspects.
