Narowal Sports City project’s cost increased from Rs732m to Rs5.76 bn

In Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal's city, the Narowal Sports Complex project was initially estimated at Rs730 million which was later disrupted due to corruption charges against Imran Khan.

The cost of the Narowal Sports City Complex project has been increased by 686%. The initial cost of the project was estimated at Rs732 million which has now been increased to Rs5.76 billion.

For the completion of this project, a continuous increase in cost is being approved, therefore the initial cost of this project has been increased from Rs730 million to Rs5.76 billion.

The initial estimate of the project was 730 million which has been increased by another Rs5.4 billion.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal gave special attention to the project during Central Development Working Party (CDWD) meeting for the Narwal Sports Complex. A revision plan was prepared for Narwal Sports City, which was plagued by corruption.

A 686 per cent increase in project costs compared to the first PC One has been approved.

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal is active to complete the Narwal Sports City project soon and therefore the matters are being dealt with as soon as possible for the completion of the project.

A revision plan without a working paper was urgently added to the CDWP agenda. The cost of the Narwal Sports City project has reached Rs576 billion.
